BBC exposes staggering growth of racism

When you have people twisting about changing this and changing that in a country in which they or their family have chosen to come to I think it’s more than reasonable to say ‘go back to where you cafrom’.

Come here and adapt to an English way of life and there’s no problem.

I have zero interest in a multi cultural society. If somebody has something to offer the country then happy days, if not I see very little purpose in them being here.
Do the US senators Chunky alluded to ‘offer’ the US anything?

if i could like this more than once i would.

You get ignorant people at the football like. I've mentioned once or twice on here before. Everton away under Moyes, we did the weekend in Liverpool because it was one of my mates birthdays. Anyone at the match I think Lukaku scored (might be wrong i'd had a couple) and this muppet Sunderland fan was calling Lukaku (Black this, black this) the N word was used. Few minutes later he starts singing Nananananana Jermain Defoe. So I pointed out that 'Defoe is okay being black cos he plays for us' got a volley load of abuse and threatened with seeing him outside for a straightener etc

What can you do? Im only young so I can't comment about the 70s 80s but im told it was pretty horrendous with bananas at matches, monkey noises etc.

Can add Josh Maja to that list also, one of our own fan's was up in court for that, only 2 years ago.

Anyway*

the bastards that are the Mail even condemn it

No body is saying that behaviour is right however In reality how many Chelsea fans were involved in that? And how often do you see that at games these days ? I really dont think racism is on the rise far from it I think its massively declined over the last 20 years..

I’d say it did decline, but it’s rising in society in the last 5

Camera can zoom in on anyone in crowd now.

Also how the fuck out of tens of thousands of people can a bloke on the pitch hear a person making a monkey noise!

Haway man.
Having never met you I find your existence on here fascinating.

Seen you pop up on generic football/smb posts from time to time, but the second anything racist is mentioned you jump in like a shot to speculate heavily about the inaccuracy of statistics, how it's impossible for black people to hear racists, how you don't get why Maja etc might have an issue with monkey noises / bananas being chucked on a pitch.

Why would you be obsessed with the idea that racist incidents are being over reported? f***ing weird bug-bear.

Your position is the exact position that saw Einstein leave Germany for the West. The small-mindedness of nationalism is the sole reason we won the nuclear arms race.

Thank you, small minded racists. You make our inclusive society stronger (unless you're in the UK, in which case fuck off you little fascist turds - we do have form for dealing with those.

Only a handful of black players in the 70s I dont recall them making a fuss or complaining plus I dont remember any racist groups at any particular club, Spurs were always known as the yids as well was never a big deal.

When i was in Kazakhstan there was a large number of Spurs supporters frequenting our 'local'. Almost without exception they referred to themselves as Yid Army.

I have absolutely no desire to delve into this but there are clear parallels with:

Spurs: Yid Army
Chelsea: Y*ds!

YG: My Nigga
Let's not name names: N*gg*r!

It’s got a lot worse in the premier league in the last decade and anybody who doesn’t accept or acknowledge this has got their head up their arses. Or supports Fulham.

far far worse at the SoL than at Roker Park too during my time

Really?

I would say the opposite in regard to SJP. Far worse in the 80's. What i would also say from experience is when there are cases the guilty morons are usually challenged pretty quickly.

Fortunate enough to have had a st in the 90s/00s and never heard a speck of racism. (Roker End - SW Corner). Even the shit McClean got when I got back from time to time would have seemed unthinkable when we had proper Quinn love goin on.

First open racism at a game I had was Yeovile - Chesterfield, this season which was shut down quick, but given there were only 94 of us there I suspect would not have been had we not been there to do it ourselves.
