to make more money? Why would they when it’s a home game?
is it only iFollow clubs?
I've said it all along. If you're say a Southend supporter, you will go and watch them. That regardless of who is playing live on TV. Even if it was say Man Utd v Man City, you would surely go and watch your own team first?the FSF are kicking off about this. I rarely disagree with what the FSF are campaigning for but this is one issue that i will disagree on. The blackout is pathetic and totally behind times. The EFL will stream games tomorrow and crowds will not be affected in the slightest. I've a whole day planned around the match. Why would I ditch those plans so I can sit in my front room and watch the game on a one-camera stream on my laptop instead?
if the FSF's concerns are to be proven correct then we should see sub 10,000 crowds across the board tomorrow. Empty seats galore. In reality, that isn't going to happen.

It's another example of football not moving with the times and blokes in blazers running the game. We live in an age now where people don't work Monday to Friday and folk often live or work away. I actually think they're missing a trick here. Instead of trying to beat those who are looking for ways around watching it, why not join them and make some money?Absolutely this. If there was a Sunderland away game and I could either pay £30 for a ticket and £50 on transport or I could watch on a stream you can bet your life I'd be at the match. If I can't get to a game, however, in this day and age I should have the choice of watching it even if it is at 3pm. Hell, I'm a Sunderland season ticket holder, living in Sunderland, I'm hardly likely to go and watch another side, let me stream the away games legally ffs
This blackout rule is from the 1960s and purely because of the so called threat to actual attendancesIt's an FA blackout implemented by UEFA regulations.
I doubt the FA agreed to this but I don't see any comment from them.
Aye I’m on a course 8-3 tomorrow only in Wallsend but not going to get to the game before half time so obviously I’m not going to bother.so that’s 3 season tickets not getting used tomorro. With a stream I could be at home for half3 and watch a good hour as a last resortI’m a season ticket holder, I’m away half the year at work. If I’m home I’m at the match, but it would be nice to have an option of watching the three o’clock kick offs when I’m away.
A course on a Saturday. Ideally there should be a way of logging into safcsee using your season card number and getting the game for free. Netflix and sky can restrict how many devices you stream on so there's ways of stopping it being abused.I’m a season ticket holder, I’m away half the year at work. Aye a right steel toecap. Thought i was being clever not doing it last week without looking at the fixture list. It’s a good one to pass but I’d take a fail now to be done at 12 n get back for the matchA course on a Saturday. That’s a kick in the puddens marra.
