bb code buttons

I don't have the bb code buttons anymore. I used to be able to toggle between using the buttons and purely text. Now I can only post in text. Would there be any reason for this?
 


Are you running any ad-blockers or script blockers? The advanced editor is often blocked by these.

The other thing to do would be check your preferences and ensure "Use the rich text editor to create and edit messages" is still ticked.
 
Using my phone. Have got that box ticked. Doesn't make any difference. Might just be due to windows phone being utterly annoying.

....update, it probably is a microsoft/Nokia browser issue as if I use a different browser on the same phone the buttons are there.

The advanced editor requires Javascript to be enabled, so if that browser blocks scripts by default it could be the cause.
