He hasn't. He made 18 premier league appearance last season under Guidolin and Bradley before Clement loaned him out and 22 in the 2015/16 season. I don;'t rate him at all (seems like a headless chicken) but you appear to be looking at his loan appearances only.

Reading have agreed a deal in the region of £1.25m to sign Modou Barrow from Swansea. Surely we should be in for him for this price. It was only a year ago or so they were looking for £4m+

Sky Sports were reporting earlier this morning that we had an offer in the region of £1.25 million accepted for the 24-year old, who is deemed surplus to requirements at the Welsh club. However, for an unknown reason, it seems Reading are no longer keen on a deal for Barrow.
