He may have went over the top but at the time he had a valid point, there was a number of players who werent / havent done well enough for Sunderland whilst they have been here

PDC was a nightmare and needs to take a ton of blame but no one can say all of our players played full of heart and desire at the start of the season

We have a manager who has sorted it out now and long may it continue

People kept stating (none more so than The Exile) that they've got rid of 3 managers in the past - they haven't. The 3 managers managed to get rid of themselves through very poor tactics and bad management, ergo poor league positions. Poyet is showing, with superior tactics and man-management, that we've had a fairly decent core to the team all along - when managed correctly.

Wait? We're doing well?

*checks league table*

But seriously, Bardsley is a twat who couldn't give two fucks about SAFC, however he's probably in the best form of his career, and I put that down to the style of play under Gus, so I'm hoping he keeps going.
Wrong.

Fair play.

I have always thought certain players like colback, vaughan and gardner havelacked quality rather than effort.

They do to be fair but it's difficult for me to accept that some performances at the start of the season was 'the best they could do'

Anyway like I say we are playing for Poyet at the moment and I hope it continues[DOUBLEPOST=1389789577][/DOUBLEPOST]

I don't disagree with the managers part at all, all have been sacked because of their own performances. What I am saying is there's no way some of our players have done well enough during their Sunderland careers.

Like I say the lad has gone over the top with what he was saying but that's hardly suprising on this board is it

He's not a Mag. But he has said he will not support the team as long as those players who got rid go the nutjob (Exile thought he was lush). It must be really churning the buffoon up that we're doing well without his sanctimonious support.

As previously stated, mebbes it's best off you not talking. PDC has nothing to do with this. It's Bardsley's behaviour that's the issue.[DOUBLEPOST=1389789842][/DOUBLEPOST]
So, anyway, how are the "rotten to the core" clique of lazy, good-for-nothing pissheads doing now, do you think?

I've noticed you've curbed your vitriol recently - so I'm guessing you've changed your mind a bit - well done.

I'm impressed with Poyet. The rest will revert to type so I'm pleased it looks like he may get to the summer and have the chance to clear them out.[DOUBLEPOST=1389789971][/DOUBLEPOST]
Bardsley loves the club and loves playing for it.

But only seems to turn up when there's new contracts to be had.

People who love the club don't turn up half cut for training or take the piss on social media, regardless of whether you like the manager or not it's not an excuse.

Oh so now it's just Bardo you are anti. It was all of them a few weeks back. Look you have said you don't support Sunderland. Why don't you just piss off and find your self another club ... Maybe the Vatican have a team which would suit your pious view of the world. I give your views on my team as much validity as a Blackburn or Forrest Green fan or dare I say a Mag.

That old chestnut? Remember that you're the one supporting the player who took the piss out of the entire club in front of the whole world based on his dislike of one man rather than his oft claimed 'love of the club' before you start casting validity claims about.

It was never just Bardsley. However, as this is a thread about him, you get the uncomfortable truth.

A rather dramatic way of describing a stupid tweet.

Anyway, what you been doing with your free Saturdays? Owt interesting?

Good post.[DOUBLEPOST=1389788494][/DOUBLEPOST]

He called me an embarrassing supporter for actually going to the games

What principles are you on about? So not supporting the team for 'principles' is better than paying money to support the lads.
There are different ways to support the club, if he choses to not go for whatever reason that's up to him. But your opinion is tainted by your bias against Di Canio, therefore your opinion on Bardsley taking the piss is irrelevant as you feel it justified.

Could that possibly be because he is getting the best out of the long-term ("rotten") core of players at his disposal? Something the three previous managers couldn't.

Of course, you speculate that they'll "revert to type" in the hope that they do to cover your arse.

No, I make an educated guess based on the previous three managers (as opposed to blind hopeful speculation and lighting the torches on anyone who disagrees). It's a lot more likely than them magically becoming consistent PL performers isn't it?

If they somehow do, then we stay up and they go on their merry way in the summer. Everybody wins.

If only they had some quality we'd not be in this position each year.

Enjoy it mate since I expect you to be back up at best next year. I also hope on reduced wages if the talk is true.

Give up mate, I agree with you I really do but i wouldn't let 1 person get in the way of my love/support for the club.
