I'm baffled and embarrassed for you in equal measures mate. I clearly bother you, you should probably ignore me or just try and get over it.
I'm 33 and happy how i go on by the way.

Ha. You can keep them, marra. You need them more than I do. 33 eh? Frightening.

Where do you think we should strengthen this summer? We finished 13 and there must be more reasons for that (Bruce being one). Which players need to be replaced for us to be a better side in your opinion?

I know you didn't ask me but I'll answer lol

For me we need 2 strikers, keeper, right back, creative midfielder and a winger.
In that order.

A couple of strikers, more pace on the right of midfield, possibly another central midfielder. I see them as the main priorities anyway. Although it was a disappointing end to the season i don't really moan too much about the 13th position cos the way the premier league is means that one or two daft results either way can put a completely different slant on how your season looks. We saw that under Bruce. ;)

Isn't it just.

You say that then you get all precious when people laugh at your's. It's a two-way street.

I don't agree that Bardsley is championship standard. I think he has a role to play for someone in the Premier League somewhere, although towards the lower end or at newly promoted teams trying to build something. But I am not so arrogant to declare that opinion and myself as indisputable and anything else worthy of nothing but condescension.

It's all just opinions at the end of the day and they are all as valid as each other. If you disagree with one, challenge it. Debate it. It is what intelligent people do. At the end of the day, you are not qualified to define anyone's opinion on here. None of us are.

Spot on.

Now tell us Captain... Danny Collins - player of the season... Thoughts?

I like him because he lives round the corner from my mam and dad. That and also the simple fact that he gives his all every time he pulls on the shirt. He maybe limited, but who in our squad is not in some way?

2 Strikers.
Left Back
Pacey Right-sided player
Creative Midfielder

Thats it.
The rest are solid enough in their respective positions for us not to need to purchase replacements. Bardo included. But we do need pace on the right, somehow. I'd be loathe to take Seb out of the side, because I think he has some excellent pluses to his game and think he needs to be a regular for us to best utilise his crossing, set pieces and will to get in the box to contribute to the goal tally. But I wonder with a pacey right back Seb might become more effective as space frees up. But then i'm tempted to stick him inside a bit, as a right sided centre mid, and throw in a right-sided James McClean.
Decisions.

I think you're spot on with the point about signing a pacey right back that gets forward.
Larsson is a quality footballer but with no space he can't utilise his biggest asset and get the ball into the box.
If we sign an attacking full back we will see a new side from Larsson (from open play) but as it is he can't get that space as he is easy to mark out of the game as he gets no support.

In my opinion he's a very limited defender and an awful footballer.

Decent for a low Premier League team but if we want to move on we need to improve at right back.

We need a striker or two but after that I think we need to replace him.

Summed up well. There are lots of things I admire about Bardsley but ability wise he is probably the weakest out of all our starters last season. Larsson is a rare talent a goalscoring midfielder and to get the best out of him we need an attacking RB. Look at McClean for example he looked such a better player with Rico behind him.

I wouldn't expect Larsson to start the season on the right ring, mind.

'No comment'.

You heard any rumours captain?

Been told all summer that MON is targeting some extra attacking flair in the wide areas - someone who can go past people. Can't imagine that would be to replace McClean so Larsson looks the most under threat.

Most of the names are already out there now, though.

I see the old 'player of the season' coming out again. We hijack the mag polls whenever possible, why does everyone immediately assume they don't do the same?
