Bardo

You stopped hating his guts like marra?

errm maybe, maybe not. ;)

You have convinced me that our priorities lie elsewhere though.

2 strikers
1CM
1winger

then fulbacks.

I bet he was one of them who booed the team in MONs first game in charge marra ;)

I never boo players ever. It's very counter productive. I'd rather cheer them on THEN slag them off on here.

when bardsley scored down everton he was seen shaking his head and tutting

:lol::lol:

Nah mate, you have me mixed up with someone else. The teams success overrides any prejudices I have with any players.

Ask Villa fans and they'd carry him up here on their backs.

The same set of fans would criticise O'Neill and slagged him off too....their reputation for being whinging, fickle tosspots goes before them.

Besides, Bardsley himself played 13 games for them, they didn't rate him either.

If you think i am wrong, why not tell me where you think I am wrong? Or are you not clever enough to compose a cogent counter-argument?

The only thing I could think of was your calling Cuellar a RB? No need for him to say that like.

I often wonder what sort of wages he is on?
Had a good season last year and my attitude has softened towards him, do I think we will finish in the top 10 with him lofting long balls foward againt the stronger teams? absolutely not.

He's on £31kpw mate, haven't got a link but it was mentioned in court when he got his last driving ban.

Even then, in the two years that Martin O'Neill has Cuellar at Villa, 47 of his 76 starts were at full back compared to just 29 in the centre of the defence. MON also went out and bought two new centre backs after Cuellar's first season, so he can't have had that much faith in him as a central defender.

A lot of people seem to be dismissing the idea of Cuellar playing full back because THEY prefer him in the centre and because of the tactics/system THEY would like to see next season. But the pivotal question is what MON sees him as, and all the indications are that he sees him as being best-suited to being one of his full backs.

Makes sense to me fella. Would rather have a RB there, but if MON sees Cuellar as the answer, that'll do me.

I think a first choice RB is a much more pressing matter than a back up winger, I agree we need 1 striker. A LB is only needed if players leave. Richardson is a very good LB and has potential to be an international in that position. CM is not a pressing matter either. If anything we are over staffed at that position.

I don't believe so.

I must be the only person who'd rather have Larsson on the bench and get a better winger in, and leave bardo at RB.

I'd certainly want another winger in ahead of Larsson, and think we'll get one. Wouldn't surprise me to see Larsson move centrally.

Sorry mate was in a foul mood at work and was on here on way out, my fault

It was just how you said Cuellar was a RB, hes naturally CB. Although he has played alot at RB, including under MON...

I want them both on the bench actually. I think a winger would be one of the main targets for MON.

Well yeah, in an ideal world. But if it was a choice between them and only one signing allowed, winger for me every time.

Or backup...he was only a free after all.
