Barcelona v Girona Kick Off 8pm Viaplay Sports 2

You and I both know that they'll find a way around that. Money talks. The middle.east wasn't able to apply for a world cup until 2038...
You are probably right. Although since Girona were purchased by CFG, UEFA have said several times that no 2 clubs owned by CFG would be allowed to play in the same UEFA tournament. Probably just about getting their price up 🤣
Sure, but still the same parent

And Sesko moved just this summer
You can try to be as pedantic as you like, but they are owned by different entities and have no consistent employees or board members. It’s a very different ownership model to the CFG clubs. The Sesko deal proved the point. He moved as a normal transfer at the going rate - not a loan, a ‘gift’, or at a knock down rate.

It’s not pedantic to say that they are both owned by red bull. The fact that they are different entities means very little if they are still controlled by the same parent owners.

Let’s not try to pretend that there is full autonomy.

I never said there was full autonomy - I have no idea if there is or there isn’t, and unless you are part of either ownership group then neither do you. I said it was very different to the CFG club ownership model, which it is. Being owned by different entities of the same parent company makes a massive difference, both legally and structurally. My local Greggs and Asda have the same parent owners, which is a very different model to my local John Lewis and Waitrose who have the same board of decision makers.

I disagree with your assessment, but we can move on

Its different.

The 2 RB clubs are independent clubs with different boards and owned by different parts of the Red Bull company. They now have no common links. Of course it’s a little tenuous / dodgy granted, but enough for UEFA.

Girona and Girona B are part of the City Football Club. All their clubs are owned, financed, and run by the same group of people. The only way that they could get around it is to push Girona away as they claim to own less than 50% of the shares, but that would mean pulling the funding and they would fall quickly. It’s well dodgy anyway as the other major shareholder is Girona Football Group, run by Pep’s brother 🤣🤣🤣
Girona are Peps leaving present.
Pat Roberts played for em a few times on loan.

Where the hell have Girona popped up from? Never heard of them….
They're part of the City group. Not that they've spent fortunes mind. They're getting a tune out of players who are playing well above what you'd think their ceiling would be.

Stuani who scored a screamer against us for Boro is still there (scored the 4th for them last night), he must be knocking on 40.

Haway Girona, anyone thats not Barca or Real Madrid winning that division is fantastic for it as a contest.

Man C lot….makes a bit more sense.

These passes are 50% cheaper than initially announced at the start of May as the result of the decision taken by the board after listening to members who have expressed their disagreement with the prices established at a difficult time and with the inconveniences that the move to the Estadi Olímpic de Montjuïc brings.

As such, the prices now stand at: Main Stand (€870), Lateral Stand (€500), Corner (€450) and Goal (€360), prices that reflect a 25% reduction on current rates at Spotify Camp Nou.
I was talking matchday tickets in LaLiga, not season tickets at barca's temporary home

No surprise, watched several Barca games this season and theyve looked bang average even in the ones they've won/drawn.

It is at least a mile from the nearest metro, and most of it is uphill. If the escalators are working it is doable, but if not you are buggered. Wouldn't even dream about it if I was elderly of immobile!

Transport via buses etc. didn't seem to be great - we got a taxi up instead so can't say what that would be like on match days. A lot of winding roads up to it. Hell of a walk down also on both occasions.
