However, on MSE there is a massive thread, and letter templates you can use. Don't expect the money before Christmas though, everyone is doing the same, so most applications are currently with the FSO (Financial Ombudsman Service) and this is what is delaying most claims (I've had mine in since October last year)
They initially said it would take a maximum of 16 weeks (4 months)... 6months later its still with the FSO
thank you, didn't know what MSE was
aye! i WAS massivley beyond my overdraft mind, buy when you're a young lad in your first proper job it doesnt really help you get back in credit when theyre charging you ridiculous amounts
yes my fault yadda yadda for going over the overdraft, but i even went in , paid it all off in one go, then told them i needed an account which would stop me going beyond 0
they approved this
few months later i get a letter saying ive gone beyond zero and was getting a charge
and the whole cycle began again![]()
I could be wrong but I don't think its bank charges, just where you have been sold insurance on a loan or mortgage.
I've never bothered claiming owt back, was only paying £16 a month insurance on my Mortgage.
Worth deein like? Had a few blokeys phoning up trying to get me to do it. 'Spose it all adds up all those £16's.
