This. Most of the American punk bands I want to see seem to skip Scotland when they do their European tours (not sure how much is related to when Fat Mike was allegedly beaten up by some neds about 20 years ago) but Bad Religion, Pennywise and NOFX would also be on my list.Descendents
I was nearby whilst they were on, but spent my time drinking Tuborg and cracking on to some Norwegian bird instead. The last few years have kicked the fuck out of my list.
Aretha Franklin- but that's probably not possible now.
Portishead- unlikely at present.
The Who- may as well, 2 out of the 4 isn't ideal but it's better than nowt.
Led Zep in some form would be incredible- highly unlikely.
Pink Floyd- see Led Zep above.
Iggy- before he pops off.
Simon and Garfunkel- I think the UN would have to intervene, they'd fail.
Neil Young
Thee Oh Sees- I'm definitely going next time they tour.
The Brian Jones Town Massacre- see above.
Them Crooked Vultures- unlikely but I'd debase myself for a ticket if they did.
Just seen the Ennio Morricone news. He was on the long list. RIP Ennio.I was nearby whilst they were on, but spent my time drinking Tuborg and cracking on to some Norwegian bird instead.
Agree on Zep and Floyd, and Simon & Garfunkel would be lovely. Had the opportunity to see both Simon and Garfunkel solo, but didn't bother.
Seen Neil 4 times.
