Ballard injury

Why? You can play 15-20 minutes not fully fit. Rare to go from not playing at all to playing full 90
I actually said earlier in the week if he’s fit I half expected him to be on the bench due to the bench against the Mags. I think there’s certain players are an upgrade, fullly match fit (not physically fit or not).

Mind, I was proven wrong against the Mags.

Considering Ballards injury record, his aggressive style, and the way hamstrings tears have an occasional habit of reoccurring. Also, the fact that we have won the last 2 games, I think Le Bris might start O’Nien and keep Ballard on ice until the last 20 mins unless he is required earlier.

Ballard will be on the bench. Luke will start.

DB will be 'eased' back in. This is what the squad is for.
This for me. Previously Le Bris would have put Nordi CB and put Hume on the right because O'Nien was an unknown quantity in terms of starting in the Prem. Now he's had his chance and especially got the start against Tottenham, even over Geertruida, I think if Ballard isn't 100% O'Nien will play.

I could see him putting Mukiele CB since they like playing balls in behind and Hume back in at RB

O'Nien was a bit fortunate a couple of times when that happened on Sunday
