Ball Boys

Full Back
Seen another one tonight, after those in Morocco in the summer, trying to be a star, winding up opposition players, not doing what they're actually supposed to be.

Referee should definitely have the authority to remove them if they're refusing to return the ball.

Clubs should be charged as well as they're obviously doing it under instruction.

Not sure if this is the same outside of the premier league, but our ball boys at the side of the pitch aren’t allowed to return the ball to the players. They’ve got to put it on the cone. I mean they’re definitely not allowed to withhold it either like.

Those behind the goal are allowed to give it to goalies for goal kicks, but aren’t allowed to assist for corners I believe.

Either way, Southampton have made themselves look like right wankers lately.

I don’t think it’s under instruction from the club, but rather a lack of instruction not to do it.

He looked like a right cocky little prick, so I’m sure he came up with the idea all on his own. But I’m also sure with the right sanctions being applied to the club in future, and with the ref having authority to kick them out, I’m sure they would learn to tow the line pretty quickly.
Boro lad will end up with a red card if he tries anything. Rules are a bit pathetic in all honesty and don’t protect the integrity of the game.
Another issue was their keeper getting a yellow in stoppage time and wasting 2 minutes taking a goal kick. He was given a yellow but the ref only played the extra 5 he signalled for at the end of extra time. So the keeper just got knocked out 2 minutes off the end of the match in exchange for a meaningless yellow card.

Why are they more intelligent?

Would you allow your daughter to be subject to inappropriate comments?
Well everyone seems radged with ball boys so why not try something different?

The problem with people nowadays is that they discuss problems without offering a solution.

There should be something that allows for a player to be sin binned if the ballperson is acting up. Or maybe award a corner or something.
