Seem to remember that the Norwich fans were starting to get quite excited about him last season until he picked up a serious knee injury.

Would have liked to have seen Ross give him more of a chance in the league in 2018/19. Looked really good in the 2nd half against Charlton on the opening day, started against Luton the following week and think he only played another 10 minutes in the league all season after that.

The problem with this lad is that he is a very nice lad who is a Sunderland lad.
He is too small and lightweight for league one and the step up is probably too much for him.
Fast forward to now, he wouldn’t be in the first team line up and would never have developed under out current structure.
Unfortunately he needed to go and although I am a Stewart hater, this was the best move for him.

Did Donald actually get a good deal here? Only played 5 games for Norwich in 18 months.
Has 9 appearances overall including cups with 468 mins on pitch so 52 mins per appearance (5 league appearances average 32 mins).

He has just 6 appearances with u23s totalling 540 mins so 6 full games.

Not been injured either apart from covid

Jack Ross not get some blame.

Held his own against Aribo on debut. Who has developed well up at rangers. Guys about 7 inches taller and was built back then against a small mumba.

Ross never played him after those intial games and he was playing RB for u23s

Norwich are a side fighting promotion to the prem and staying in the prem since he signed. We know from our own time doing both hardly ideal to give your young players a chance.

So he’s not even playing for their U23s?
