Also is there a limit to how many players you can loan from one club? I had two in my mind, if so then I guess it confirms we won't be getting Adelukan.

He barely plays anymore for them. 3 apps this season, i think 14 last season? Kalas is just about to return for them too, so he's basically free to go.

Wright is at a good age (27), and has played plenty of games in the football league for Preston and Bristol City. I wonder if he’s played much in a 3 at the back system?

I didn’t. I still don’t think it’s been fully acknowledged what an absolutely rancid transfer performance it was from Donald and co in the summer. It was nothing less than gross negligence.

1) not many players move permanently in the January window, and if they do it’s for an extortionate price (see Will Grigg)
2) We need players to get us out of this division, that doesn’t necessarily mean they will be good enough to start for us in the Championship, I’d rather bring in loan players than have to peddle more shite next season if we go up (especially if FPP become the new owners with visions of getting us to the PL within a couple of years)
