Actually this might be true.
I once found a Mandarina Duck jacket in there.

 It is true, it would have been an odd thing to make up.

Some decent ones in as well for that place ... makes a change to see something without a massive (shite) logo plastered all over it.

I can never understand people paying hundreds on luggage
You are just asking for it to get robbed
And you would shit yourself if you seen it being hoyed about by baggage handlers

I've got a Tripp wheeled leather job which cost less than £100
Sturdy enough to get tossed about by baggage handlers
And small enough to take on plane as 'carry on' luggage
Had it for About 7 years, used constantly and is still as good as new

Depends on how much you travel I think. And with a sturdier and higher-quality piece of luggage (particularly leather), it's going to last three times as long as a budget equivalent. Businessmen wearing a sharp suit are going to want an equally-sharp looking piece of luggage if they walk into a meeting with it.

The handle snapped off my large Tripp suitcase during it's third use. About 30kg in it. Apart from that it's been a winner, but the handle ffs!

The OP wanted weekend luggage

For business use it would have to be TUMI

I have a Cabin size Samsonite with internal/seperate laptop bag.

2000 Regal Fits perfect.

Got a Paul Smith folio from the British Collection recently - it's in the 'fishing check', can't find it online anywhere.

It's basically this, with without the buckle pouch on the front, and in this colour.

It's beautifully made and will last me years.

Samsonite
We are talking about stylish luggage
Not something passed on by your Dad when he retired ;)

Cost me 250 sheets that

Saves me 40 every time I get cheap flights and need no luggage though
