I loved it too. Second time I have been camping in Wales, second time I have left early because of wind storms!

We live in Anglesey and its often windy here but the scenery here and gwynedd are brilliant

It did really make an impression on me. I love the Lake District and Cheviots, but now I have another hilly region I want to do a lot of walking in. I like the local slate and stone a lot of the buildings are made of too.

Nice climb up Snowdon on the pyg path, but my least favourite hill as I got near the top. Packed with tourists.

Away from Snowdon I think its much quieter than the lakes and to me it's the best mountains outside of the highlands

Well unless all hell is to break loose later it looks like yet again the weather forecasters and media went OTT about a couple of rain showers.

I prefer a nice mild day. Not too hot not raining, this takes the piss.
You and me both.
I work outside all year round, and autumn's by far the best season for me.
This 'hot n wet' weather has the grass/weeds etc constantly growing like crazy.
I’m surprised they didn’t look out the door and turn back in
