I can’t imagine anyone less suitable. Maybe Rory Stewart who seemingly reckons just ploughing on with May’s deal is viable.

Thing is, assuming he wins, we haven't voted for him. He hasn't won a general election to be in that position.

It’s going to be great. A group of potentially hugely divisive people, with the most divisive the favourite to win, get to proceed with that sham of a parliamentary majority May ended up with.

We actually do need a general election but I can’t contemplate Corbyn being PM either
