Away Fans - Next season looking good?

Watching the Football League show and I have not looked at the Championship table for a while. Just checked and the current top 7 are as follows;

QPR - Best away trip in London bar none
Cardiff - New ground and always a bit edgy (sort of trip I like) and perfect for a stopover
Swansea - See Cardiff (x2)
Derby - Proper Club, Plenty of tickets
Leeds - Old rivalries renewed and we have no trips to Yorkshire this season
Nottingham Forest - See Derby
Doncaster - Great little club and yet another new ground to tick off. Easy access by train.

Going through the whole of the Championship I doubt I could have hand picked a better lot at the top. I might have went for Barnsley, Hull and Sheff Utd, but I am happy with any three of that lot coming up and will probably do all three games.

Cardiff away will never be the same again. Ninian Park was intimidating as fuck but the new ground is the same as most new ones.

Would love QPR, Leeds, Sheff U, Derby or Forest to come up like

I just fancy a night out in Cardiff. The ground is secondary to be honest. Been to Ninian and I know what you mean. The new ground would be another one to tick off though.

Suppose. But if I was just looking for grounds to tick off i'd choose QPR, Swansea or Doncaster. Been to the rest

Norwich is the only one of those I have yet to visit so that would be OK by me.

Edit - I have been to Elm Park but not the Madjeski, so I suppose Reading would be OK as well, but it's such a god forsaken shithole. Would hate to have to spend a night out there and struggle to think where the hell you would go to as an alternative. I have had a night out in Slough (and Swindon) and they are both on a par with Crook!!

And for those who don't come up ... it will be a nice away trip for the Mags.:)

Just cos they've got the new ground doesn't turn the edgy Welsh lads into pussy cats overnight.

The new ground is a spit away from Ninian, and looks impressive from the outside. We were down there today, and passed all the Forest buses on the way back up. Some "emotional" lads on there

The Cardiff City Stadium is a kit ground, same as Doncaster Rovers, albeit a larger version:

QPR is one of my favourite away grounds....really intense....and great for away fans if you on on the upper tier. As long as Palace don't come up I don't care......!

That's the way I like it
