Autotrader

Bought a Lexus Rx with rocket ship miles on it 6 years ago off AT from a woman in Birmingham, ex Company Car that had done 35K per year, full dealer service history, got it for half the price dealers were selling the same model (albeit with double the miles of dealer cars)

I have not spent a penny on it other than tyres, one set of brake discs and pads, and a bit of welding on the exhaust. My motor before that was a 5 series with 189K on the clock with exactly the same back story, had it for 3 years and sold it for £400 less than I paid for it.

Z4's are great cars and cracking value now for the early ones too. Best you pretend it's the mrs car though to avoid the hairdresser comments. We do that with her little 1 series soft top she's got now instead, her car, but I like to nick it in the summer.

Been looking at vans and this one caught my eye until I saw the pictures, they said it's just frost which begs the question why the hell would you put photos on of it looking like that? I thought it was paint damage at first

If a photographer was booked then he gets paid. Not good to take pictures in any weather other than a sunny day really but nowt to worry about. Clearly it’s frost.

Wouldn't have thought they'd get photographers in, I'd have thought it's just sales lads with phones these days?

My car's silver and went like that during that cold spell we had before Christmas. Wasn't taking it anywhere and it was literally freezing so it frosted up.

Not ideal but maybe they've got a load to get through and took the pics just to get it up online.

I know the lad across at their Carlisle branch really well. Shout if you want me to introduce you.

He’s a great lad and will sort you a deal.

This, it’ll have been a sales person taking them. More important to get the images done and the van online than what it looks like really (from their perspective anyway).

Thanks just trying to get the rest of the funds. It will go quickly that so I'm not that confident

I’ve got a 3.0 and love it. I get nowt off other drivers though. 😂 Always make sure I use the indicators so I don’t fit the usual stereotype. Mines a manual. The flat 6 naturally aspirated engine is a joy.
