Exactly this.

20 defeats in our last 31 says it all. They are shit.
after all the hard work that was and is still put in behind the scenes in the last few years the team is going back to becoming the joke it was in the 90's. We've never been winners at the 50 over competition but clearly we may end up getting a hiding of a minnow in this years competition. We all remember Ireland in the last one.

Just caught the highlights, we still appear to be absolutely terrified of Australia. They're a very good side but the amount of cheap wickets we continue to gift them is remarkable and as for the fielding.

surely chasing 340 or whatever it was we were always going to lose cheap wickets

Replay the game is the only way forward from here

This but unironically.

Imagine if the same thing happened in a closer game? Or one involving India? The world would explode. It being in a match where the result was 99.99% decided doesn't make it all right. Watch us get knocked out by a fraction of net run rate (that we might otherwise have had if the match had finished properly) - now that would open a can of worms.

Was wondering what will happen if/when Eng finish fifth on run rate. Could be interesting. You would have thought with the number of officials and match referees that seem to be involved in every game someone would have made the correct call. If it happens again in tonights game it could start a nuclear war!

Would be hell on if it happened to India!
