'WAAA NEARLY WON THAA LEAGUE UNDA KING KEV'

'YA DIVENT EVEN HAVE YAA OWWWN AIRPORT'

'TOON TOON'

'MUNKEY MAKKAMS HOR HORRRRR'

twats.
Exactly right mate. They are so great but they have achieved exacalty nowt??? The running of the club is pathetic and the press and marketing? Amazing. How they come on here and attempt to give it the large is beyond me. Even the KK days are long gone.

A whopping 7,131 watched the mags vs Wrexham at the landfill on May 8 1979.

Sunderland's lowest ever league crowd in the modern era (i.e. post war)?

8,003 vs Plymouth on April 4 1989.

Can you find the aggregates and averages for both clubs in that time scale ?

(I'll give you a clue, don't unless you want to look silly)

you didn't actually qualify for it did you though ? finished 13th or something and sneaked in on the 2 clubs rule

been through more back doors than Julian Clary since then anarl ;)

Have they ever qualified for Europe as winners of a trophy?

agree but they won't take a bit of notice. the bulk of their support started 1992 when the club was bought and heavily invested in. even so they still managed to come second with a 12 point lead Ha!

Honest question.

If this is so horrendous for us why did nobody mention it pre 5-1 ?

Plenty of evidence on numerous SAFC Internet sites of us talking about it long before 2010. You're not doing a very good job of not being bothered about that 1-9 scoreline though.....

Roker Park, famous for the roar of its supporters.

St James Park, famous for the size of its supporters' bellies. And not winning a trophy, obviously.

“I remember playing at St James Park in 1952...I remember sitting with a capacity crowd in Barcelona as Barcelona beat their wild rivals Real Madrid, but nothing I have ever heard equalled the intensity of that wild roar at Roker Park.”

Danny Blanchflower, Spurs and Northern Ireland.
