Baring in mind its on sky, its freezing , pissing down and half the people on here prefer to spend £20 on a monday night out boozing in town rather than actually going and getting behind the lads !!

The £20 for x 2 may grab a few punters in !!

Il hazard a guess at 35,000

Haway the lads

We'll be lucky to get 35k.

When villa beat us about this time last year there was 34,800 !!

No sure if there was any deals on last year for non season ticket holders.

tbf that was during the terrible 14 game (?) winless run where everyone was convinced the club would gan down and never ever return.

I think.

37,820

rubbish. First home after the Chelsea game, the tenner ticket offer, decent-ish opponent etc. When was the last time we got less than 35k?

the negatives outweigh the positives, unfortunately.

Looking at the stadium plan it looks low to me, still eier for me to get back home.

Within 1000 of whatever Jarrabranch says it is.............

I miss the Deaf club predict the crowd sweep :-(

Considering how well we've reacted from 'that sunday' and our exceptional home form all season, anything less than 39,000 is an insult to the clubs efforts to draw in crowds. What more do our 'fans' want? The club is in its best state in 10 years, we have an owner who is willing to back us, the best chairman in the league and genuine quality players in our team.

Ok its a monday night, its freezing, its pissing down, its on sky bla bla bla......theres literally no genuine excuse with the 2 tickets for £20 offer tonight

Should be 48k, but the usual "fans" - alot of which get on here - will make their excuses etc, be lucky to get 42k.

Disgraceful for a club like us tbh, who prides itself on being some of the best supporters in the country etc., after a superb result and performance last week and with tickets being cheap as chips.

Will Short and Quinn give Bruce money to push us on further towards the elite, if a lot of our "support" don't even give enough of a shit to go, when the tickets are cheap as fuck and the team is playing mint? Shame for the rest of us who are there week-in, week-out like, regardless of how things are going. Rant Ower.

Anyone who is in a pub within 10 miles of Sunderland should be banned from ever attending again and they are a disgrace to the club

Dont talk shite, there will be mid-high 30's there tonight by the looks of it. Which is a class crowd IMHO.

....But above all ...The Recession .....as another (close to home) example NUFC after THAT result against us and an away win at Arsenal drew only 41.000 against Blackburn i.e. more than 10.000 down from the game against us ....and let's face it whatever else may be said about them the mags their attendances are usually good.

We are living through the worst financial crisis in all of our lives and we think it strange that attendances are down?
