I once had a car stolen that was later used for a robbery in Grangetown. The police phoned me to say they needed to speak to me and the car had been found burnt out at a golf course in Seaham. They phoned me just as I was on my way out the door en route to the airport for a week in Ibiza

Aye, the copper said they'd organise removal of it. I'd already reported it stolen two weeks earlier. Didn't hear from the police again.

it really feels like the lockdown is creating a wave of crime across the city.

I saw 3 lads trying to kick a park bench to bits today.
Is petty crime really a result of the lockdown? Or is it because they're not at school so they can't kick school benches to bits where we wouldn't see it?
