Attacking Football

This is where Allardyce excelled, he would use science and data to prove to the players they weren't fit enough. He would then set performance targets for the players to hit but design hard but enjoyable ways for them to follow to get there.

Moysey and other traditional managers will be 10 laps round the pitch merchants, 'especially you, zee German' is how I imagine it went.

Whoever comes in I'm hoping we aren't going to watch the goalkeeper lumping balls towards the opposition penalty spot, especially when the opposition have ogres heading them straight back.

Ross did play a pressing, attacking game, to start with, but abandoned that system, around November/December, of last season.

Let's hope, whoever comes in, is a bit more courageous, and attack minded.
Ross obviously, never heard of the old adage, 'the best form of defence, is to attack'
Coincidentally this is when our form started dropping off..........just saying like.

Hounded out?
By whom?

He was getting dogs abuse every week.. “only playing cos he’s Captain”, “runs around a lot with no end product” etc etc.. However, digressing. He would be ideal in a proper high pressing system and we’ve flogged him..
