Atmosphere..

you never answered my question. Who was Danny Rose applauding? Whilst you're thinking. Can you let me know who Mignolet applauded start of second half? That's at least twice. Combine that with red and white army and ha'way the lads that started in the SWC and moved around then that's 4 times off the top of my head.

and cattermole when he went off

Players applaud all sections of the stadium, so what?

People need to swallow their pride and admit this whole singing section shite has gone down like a lead balloon. I'd be tempted to move the away fans to one of the South corners and hopefully that will improve things.

I sit immediately to the right of the singing section just beside the red and white strip that covers a number of seats and tonight was easily the worst atmosphere of the season, in my opinion.

they were applauding because we were chanting their name.

and there's a 5th time and 3rd player to acknowledge the south stand.

The stewards song was song once when they dared come and try and mess with the U37 hard lads!

I love how people claim to not be to hear us yet Danny Rose heard us from the half way line. Comical

Danny Rose chant was awful and didn't really get going.

Do people want a medal for chanting Cattermole and Rose's names for a combined 30 seconds?

I was expecting more than that from the singing section tbh. For the vast majority of the game you cannot hear a peep from them. But they sang Cattermole's name when he limped off so it's all good. Great atmosphere lads.

The atmosphere is dreadful really. The venom of the Mags game is about all there is to look forward too. Other than that its like a funeral parlour.

Not people, just.. person.

Thought it was decent in the South Stand, miles better than I was expecting. Quieter in the second half, particularly later on, but the back of U37 seemed to sing non-stop from where I was in U39 so there was more or less constant noise. All in all, very proud of our support again tonight considering what we turned up for again.

The only chants that got going were 'Fuck off you stewards, we'll stand if we want', f***ing embarrassing, follow the rules or don't come.

And as for the booing of McClean

That was sung once by a few who the stewards tried to move from the aisles and the surrounding section then got a full outing when one steward decided to antagonise everyone with his sarcastic applause.

If we're still counting people applauding the south stand we are up to 6 now

Do you not get tired of posting the same thing every home game?

I do yeah.

But it's hard not to respond when the South Stand boys are wetting themselves because they chanted Danny Rose's name once in a 20 second burst.

I was looking forward to the new and improved atmosphere and stadium layout but it's just been complete shit. Tbf not helped by how shit we are on the field. Whole season has just been utter shit on and off the pitch.

The rules, as were quite clearly stated in a letter sent by the club to those deemed 'persistant stander's a few years back, was that fans were allowed to stand whilst chanting. The stewards never respected that rule, so why should the fans respect the rule to sit down for 90 minutes if they don't wish to do so?
