this is amazing.

got to be the best excuse iv ever seen on here or any other board. How can you cling on to some anglo italian cup game

look at your attendances in the season you actually won the league in 1995, f***ing shocking and shamefull. An utter embarresment to your club

How, we own our ground but didn't built bigger stands to fill up with plastics, well done.
At the end of the day all you'll be left with is scrap metal for the stands and back to the 16k average.
Did you notice we were in the second (or third) division for the best part of the last 20 or so years?
You cling to those falsified figures while we grow as a club and push on to qualify for Europe and beyond.
It's great being a Sunderland supporter as this is just the start of it, owner willing to put money into the club and convert it into equity and a chairman that understands football.
Add that to a manager that played at the highest level as a player and the youngest premiership team currently sitting in 6th place.
I understand why you feel bitter, i hated our demise in the early to mid 80's.

who gives a shit about attendances

we know you all get free tickets to star in fat mikes adverts

this gets better.

falsified figures ? how can you argue with factual stats.

Course I noticed you were in the third division, who didnt.

Bruce played top level. Really ? How many England caps.

Why oh why we would be bitter about what yous are doing. Fair enough this is a promising time for you ( hence my suprise at the dropping gates ) but realistically you have done jack shit yet. Your points about knowledgable chairman etc are true but your only 5 points ahead of us and played a game more yet in your eyes were relegation fodder whilst yous are striding off into Europe ( believe me you'll enjoy it ). We've had it fantastic over the last 20 years, playing great football whilst being lucky enough to travel to the worlds greatest stadiums on many a European venture. Just coz yous are 2 places above us in the league does not give you the right to start thinking your the next man united but I do realise that this is your big chance to try and enjoy your little time in the sun. However if yous dont qualify for europe this season yous are going to look a bit daft after all this.

My Geordie mate says that no fans were allowed to leave at half time at st James park, which I know a few of the lads did. We nearly ended up fighting about it on Friday night!
A few of my mates left and they said that there were loads of sunland leaving with no bother, and they even stopped for a pint at one of the pubs on the way back.

should of nutted the ****

I thnk I'm gonna tbh, or you can if u ever visit daft lad

post what you want.

And to be fair I'm convinced that this thread has turned into 1 big wind up. Its like something off a f***ing monty python sketch.

I give up,

sunderland till i die ( or 44 miutes played )

Thought you were giving up.
The thread was asking if fans left at half time, but when the mags take the piss out of our loyslty, surely eveb you can see the relevance of pointing out that your fans have left early on many occasions?
Maybe not a derby, but as you yourself know, you've only lost one in recent memory at the sol.
So if you'd leave against Pompey, who you don't care about, after 15 mins, then surely 1000's wouldnt be able to face getting the piss ripped by the mackems.
You say you would stay, but hundreds would try and leave, and if u say otherwise your a fkn liar

Read this post properly then come back to me when you've sussed it einstein.

Another keyboard warrior mag who has nothing better to do than lurk around on a sunderland website.

Pathetic, obsessed and very boring.

He'll never give up, he thinks he's some sort of oracle.

Delusion and obsession is a poisonous brew and his cup is overflowing.

No England caps, granted....
But what did shearer win with his caps..........

The same as you've won for 50 years!

Fuck all.

Got to love the mongy mags when they preach about loyal fans etc, they forget about their average attendance for 1980 being 16k .You couldn't make shit like this up.

source? our lowest average is 19K - in the Ardiles years IIRC

you're just making it up aren't you...

btw I'm still waiting for your admittance you were making up the fact Labour increased VAT to 17.5% during their last spell in power...

Bongo - the mackems self styled Billy Liar

"Bruce played top level. Really ? How many England caps."

Bruce is one man, un ugly man, but a man nontheless.
NUFC are an entire football club, an ugly club, but a club nontheless.

In his lifetime Bruce has won loads more trophies than your entire football club.

Newcastle haven't won a current major trophy since Steve Bruce was born in 1960 ....... the op has been done to death and, we all know some of us left SJP at half time, now I'm answering the big man's question.

DaddyO has spent the last 2 days of his life trying to prove that some of us left at half time .......... with all the competition you'd find it hard to find the saddest Mag in the world but I think we have a winner

Like his life, his arguments are just falling apart :-D

(By the way I'm sorry to spoil the fun, for everyone, but the reason many people left early was entirely practicle ....... the people who came for the 1-1 draw, and had come on the coaches, were kept in for up to 2 hours ....... when it became obvious the game was lost they simply didn't want to go through that whole pathetic procedure again for nothing. People who had used the trains were also kept from leaving for a ridiculous amount of time.

This time they left and made their own way home .......... and that's a fact.

And in the spirit of SJP, the spiritual home of protests, the Sunderland fans were telling their players exactly what they thought of the performance by walking out. Not that exciting but true.)

You really should go and check the facts nippleheed then admit you're wrong

daddyc, king of the road and chums dont rely on facts;

They think that if they repeat themselves often enough, and throw enough insults around, their opinions will magically become fact.

Clowns.

You fickle pricks left in your thousands after 15 mins against Portsmouth 2 year ago. The Geordie nation really got behind their team in it's hour of need that day you daft prick. I can safely say I've never seen Sunderland fans leave a ground in their thousands after 15 mins of any game. In fact I've never seen any fans apart the Mags leave after 15 mins of any match. You were f***ing queueing to get out of the stands :lol::lol: You are the most fickle football supporters, the world has ever seen.

JACK anory

Would our fans have been better off running onto the pitch to try and force an abandonement ?
It's the done thing isn't it, in the big city ?
Feckin ell, even then they couldn't get past the half way line............. Numpties.

Good morning. Taking anyones ticket for Sunday?

Yeah, mine ....... bought on the internet direct from Sunderland.

What a totally f***ing stupid argument and you'll keep trying it won't you ...... still shoving crayons up your sister's arse?
