+++ Aston Villa v Man City kick off 2015 Amazon Prime +++

I love Villa. While the media have been drooling over Newcastle and its bought success, these lot have been plugging away in the background without spending anywhere near as much, and without the blood on their hands.
Villa have spent a fair bit like

Well played Villa.
More energy, drive and passion.
Cannot remember a City game where the other team hammered them so much with shots on & off target ?
Think Emery has done a great job, with Villa playing exciting and entertaining football...

most games this season teams are hammering them with shots

14 home wins in a row, but on the road they drop points to teams like Bournemouth.

If they were actually any decent away we'd be looking a genuine title contender

Actually a bit harsh. Villa have won as many as they have lost away from home which suggests they are pretty decent. More than a point away from home is not bad going, including wins at Spurs & Chelsea. Bournmouth have won 3 of their last 4, including beating Newcastle. The only points they've dropped are against Villa.

Yes, it's too many defeats for a title win but it's decent and almost certainly better than most sides in the division.

City's squad isn't as good as it was last season without Gundogan, Mahrez, Laporte etc. Also KDB injury was clearly a huge blow

I don't see what Rico Lewis is good at either

Pep trying to be clever. Young right back learning his trade and suddenly is being expected to run the centre midfield

This obsession he has with playing centre halves and fullbacks in midfield is bizarre. I mean Stones and Akanji lining up in cm, comon man. Would be hilarious if they fell out the top 4
