Asoro on loan

He could be an asset to this team, imo.

Wouldn’t have a problem with him coming back really although I can’t see it.

The lad is so not an idiot just because he made a decision we didn't like. These are players not fans. He could have stayed here and still been on the bench all season. Lets face it half the fans didn't want to be here last season so you cannot blame the lad for going more money and at the time arguably a more organised club. Would I want him back....no. How would Maja feel being subbed or rested for him. Whilst he's probably a decent lad, there would be the potential for it to cause problems in a team that is obviously bonding well.

If ever there was a young footballer poorly advised by his agent ,it's Asoro.
Yes he probably pocketed a nice amount of cash but in footballing terms ,he has been passed by a lad who was looked upon on here as his inferior .
Maja has come on leaps and bounds this year and is now a far hotter prospect with a better future than Asoro .
Unfortunately we are going to have a hell of a struggle holding on to him ,given our financial situation . On the plus side Maja according to reports is a very grounded young lad and he may decide ,if and when we are promoted ,he will be better off in the long run staying here.
Didn't his agent forgot or not inform him of an offer from a Premier league club?

I don't blame Asoro for wanting to move especially if offers from higher positioned clubs came in for him.

We are talking Swansea FFS ,hardly a leap into the big time. He will now probably drift into obscurity, where as Maja , unfortunately for us , will move to a premiership club.

No, JR wants players who truly want to play for the club - not players who desert and then come skulking back just because they can't get a game, no doubt unsettling things on big money. We are fine going forwards, it is defenders we need if we are going to strengthen imo. On that basis - I'm oot!

Bit to go before he goes to a Premier League club I reckon. He is doing really well but he was taken off for a reason last night. Needs to increase his level of strength and aggression, especially when we need an out ball and he needs to work on his speed off the mark. He is developing nicely and I love watching him - his touch and eye for goal are brilliant at times but nowhere near Premier League level as yet....move along, nothing to see here, not yet anyway ;)
