Anyone planning on going?

Missed out last time due to a period in hospital, lived in Sydney for a year after before Visa problems.

Looking to head this winter? Anyone got a vague cost estimate? Also is it the type of thing you can do yourself? Turn up and make friends there?

I am intending to if I can save the money up (which doesnt look good at the moment)
Intending to do a bit of fishing when I am over there

Still undecided about going to the Melbourne test, got free digs would only need to pay for flights.

Get your arse over there man

My mate told me about an advert for Pedigree beer, it said something like

"Pedigree, sponsoring a trip to a country that has none"

I wanted to go to the Perth or Adelaide tests but they're both in December, which is a busy month for us at work, so that's a no no. You can still get flights to Adelaide for under £700 but that's from LHR. Perth flights are £950ish, again from LHR, but that means returning on the day after the test. After that they're all over £1k.

Apparently digs, bait & grog are expensive now. The have more info.

I might wait until the ODI's & T20 fixtures are announced before deciding what to do. I may even wait until the WC in 2015 and go then.
