Just seen Clarke's interview after the match, how on earth was he able keep to keep a straight face whilst saying that England gave them a really hard series?
Well I have no idea how he said australia have the best pace attack in the world without being high as a kite.

But yes no idea how but he's a good captain clarke and usually very gracious off the field.

If a batsman in local cricket hung his bat "out to dry" as often as Pietersen he would not get many runs. A batsman should know where his off stump is and so should be able to leave the ball. Nothing more frustrating for a fast bowler than a batsman pulling his bat away as if he is saying, "No I am not going to play that - you will have to do better than that."

Some of the best batsmen I have played with in Yorkshire have the ability to leave the ball - they know where their stumps are.

If KP doesn't know where his off stump is then he should not be there.

It's incredible how many international batsmen play at balls they don't need to/aren't there to be hit.

He's not the only one though. There's been hundreds of wickets give away due to batsmen not being sure where off stump is.
