I think the problem is there is too much difference between facing the Aussies bowlers and county cricket that it’s hard to judge if they can make the transition even for people scoring runs in county cricket as difference is massive and getting bigger imo.

It’s a bit like in football, a championship player scoring lots of goals, that does not always mean they will score goals in the premier league and quite often they struggle against better defences (ie better bowlers).
