Asda and Morrisons rationing fruit and Veg

The UK people are being gaslighted/ gaslit in the exact same way they were and continue to be about energy prices. It's crazy really. The World is such a small place now the Internet exists, that their lies can instantly be discredited. Which they are, including on here by the many folk who no longer live in the UK. What will it take for people to wake up? Also the BBC and the other media sources should hold their heads in shame. They are enablers.
No. Read the articles. It’s purely climactic. The countries we get fruit and vegetables from have apparently gone through a lot of unseasonal conditions that has harmed productivity. That’s what I read.

After Liz against all the odds secured 5 Mongolian KFC outlets with British chickens you'd think our Mongolian friends wad be so kind as to grow some tomatoes for 60 million plus folks to enjoy.

Yep it's crazy.

Mark Twain nailed it. "it is easier to fool people than convince then they've been fooled".

He did a preemptive strike.

If we're importing from Morocco then we shouldn't be affected by Spanish shortages. What's the problem in Morocco?

Morocco trade with EU is more favourable conditions for them so they send what the EU want and we're left with what's left. The EU get the lion's share and we're left to pick over the carcass that the lion didn't want.

European producers have had problems producing.

Between Morocco and the UK there’s this huge single market with a freer, more established and less complex trade arrangement.

Mr Moroccan tomato prefers to sell closer and easier to this big single market as it’s far less chew on, he will also retain more of his profit.

See the BBC and Sky are going along with this bullshit that’s it’s due to the weather
Bit of both really. Crops are down, but faced with selling in Europe, or jumping through hoops to sell to us, they are doing the only thing a sensible businessman would do.

That has contributed, there's been delays crossing the Med from North Africa to Spain. But in the past this would have been sorted in a couple of days, post Brexit there isn't the capacity or resource.

The BBC's refusal to mention Brexit is really scary, they're supposed to be impartial. You expect this shit from Sky but not the Beeb.

The supply chain route from North Africa goes through Spain or France.

It wasn’t meant to it was supposed to be ferried from Tangiers to England bypassing all this but that’s another Brexit con

Surprised non of this is Thatchers fault yet.
Thatcher was pro eu single market

we as a country, have been run by a group of right wing hedge fund, disaster capitalists and a man in Johnson who simply had to be pm , to match his bullingdon club contemporary in Cameron

the results are being apparent to all and if some could have a little humility and just admit that they were conned, we could get on with things and try and make the country a better place.

or

do they want more far right politics to govern for evermore?

it’s pretty simple

Yeah right. It was a good idea in theory and once we sort our shit out and finalise some trading conditions we will actually stick to, it might be a goer.
