Asda and Morrisons rationing fruit and Veg

Literally the post above, someone has linked an explanation.

You asked what the problem was with Morocco, I explained to you that the supply chain runs through the EU. This has stopped the problem being solved.

There are many causes to the problem and some are related to Brexit, but most are not. However the solution to the problem has been prevented by Brexit and only Brexit. I even took the time to briefly explain how these kind of problems have been solved pre Brexit.

This is the new reality, doesn't matter if you take the huff or not.
I haven't taken any huff I just asked you how the supply train from north Africa is affected by bad weather in Spain. That's upset you and you're trying to bullshit reasons to back up what you said. That's fine though we move on.

I think that it isn't just Brexit related.. it's a supplyissue

The supply issue is Brexit related.

In the past we would have diverted resource away from Italy (for example) and into Spain. So the round trippers that spend a week going to Milan and back would have been sent to Southern Spain, and we'd get some EU based (probably Latvian or Estonian) subbies to cover the runs to the east.

Can't do that now. There's no capacity as a lot of the EU drivers based in the UK went home when the rules changed in 2019 and didn't come back. And you can't get EU based subbies to do it because nobody wants the hassle of crossing the channel, too much paperwork and the chance that you might be stood for days at the crossing.

2015, this problem is gone within 3-4 days. 2023, we'll just have to wait.

Yeah, you used to be there all the time, until it dawned on you, you were defending the indefensible, took a huff and "spilled out onto here".

Cowardly as fuck imo.
Scuttle back over to the dark side marra, theres a good lad, nobody's interested. speak to you in 12 months when you surface again.

Like you speak for the entire board

I didn't start this thread "marra". As I said, cowardly as fuck. You ran away when the going got tough. A few of your fellow loons stuck around to fight to the last, but you turned and ran.

I wouldn't like to be next to you in the trenches.

Christ now i remember why, your patter is atrocious.

He's right though. You're soft as shite. You're terrified to go on the politics board as you would get destroyed in any discussion. That's because you lack critical thinking skills since you didn't stick in at school and have a manual labour job an orangutan could do.

Why would I get huffed I just asked you a question?
It was actually you who was huffed when I questioned what you said earlier. Anyway it's only chat on a message board. I doubt anybody really gives a shit about anything that is said on here that isn't personal.

Call me a cynic but is this not just another excuse to frighten customers and put up prices,
M&S are saying they accept that they have found some shortages they have acted and found other markets. Tesco, Sainsbury, Aldi and Lidl are not rationing veg.

The fresh fruit aisle in my local Tesco has been pretty sparsely stocked this week, although the veg aisles have been ok.
