Long old rant mate, most of it right.Thatcher was pro eu single market
we as a country, have been run by a group of right wing hedge fund, disaster capitalists and a man in Johnson who simply had to be pm , to match his bullingdon club contemporary in Cameron
the results are being apparent to all and if some could have a little humility and just admit that they were conned, we could get on with things and try and make the country a better place.
or
do they want more far right politics to govern for evermore?
it’s pretty simple
The usual shoe horning of blair, he is gone , try and get over him . It’s not a rant, it’s a simple explanation of where the country is at . Saying rant shows as ever, that I’m right but can’t admit it being so, so try and belittle and deflect by bringing in blair . I’m used to it though, it’s all people haveLong old rant mate, most of it right.
Those hedge fund capitalist rulers is also true of Blairs term in office marra.
Anyone who voted Brexit must know they were conned by now. Getting them to admit it however, is a completely different issue. The same with anyone with any ingrained political beliefs.
We need more open minds, which seem to be in short supply.
Mate, don't have a pop at me for "shoehorning Blair"into this. You can't disagree with my point on his time in office. As you say, he is gone, but so is Johnson. The usual shoe horning of blair, he is gone , try and get over him . It’s not a rant, it’s a simple explanation of where the country is at . the people involved are here and now. Vote Tory if you quite enjoy being ran by a select few of right wing zealots, feeding hedge fund managers and billionaire off shore media magnets
I’m used to it. You compare now to Blair’s time. Not me, you did thatMate, don't have a pop at me for "shoehorning Blair"into this. You can't disagree with my point on his time in office. As you say, he is gone, but so is Johnson.
You also seem to be under the impression that I am defending the Tory record, which I am not.
It was a bit of a rant marra, lets be honest, but does not show that your right at all. I said in my opening sentence, most of what you said was right.
Don't see fights with everyone that may disagree SLIGHTLY with some of what you say man.
Never had a previous ID Kojak, but quote it if you like. Fill your boots.I’m used to it. You compare now to Blair’s time. Not me, you did that
To compare Blair’s time to now. Was the country divided in Blair’s time , compared to now?
were prices in Blair’s time, comparative to now ?
Did we have 3 prime ministers in a year in Blair’s time ?
did we have constant cultural war tropes during Blair’s time ?
its really that simple. You want more of how things are now, vote Tory. If you think that they have ruined the country and show no sign of apologising but to what to do even more damage, then it’s time to change
and by the way, I know who your previous id was
You did, you ignore the further points if we compare Blair then . Dont worry it’s standardNever had a previous ID Kojak, but quote it if you like. Fill your boots.
I mentioned Blair to say the hedge fund quote you made also rang true for him, as much as any previous or subsequent leaders we have had. I did not question his premiership any further than that.
I find it absolutely ludicrous that you have taken this route, when I actually was at pains to say I agreed with most of what you said.
Take a minute marra, and don't forget to post my previous ID mate. That will be fun.
I understand mate. You did, you ignore the further points if we compare Blair then . Dont worry it’s standard
I’m watching the footy now
Goodnight
What's that got to do with bad weather affecting crops in Spain? That has contributed, there's been delays crossing the Med from North Africa to Spain. But in the past this would have been sorted in a couple of days, post Brexit there isn't the capacity or resource.
The BBC's refusal to mention Brexit is really scary, they're supposed to be impartial. You expect this shit from Sky but not the Beeb.
The supply chain route from North Africa goes through Spain or France.
The shortages - which are affecting Ireland too - are largely the result of extreme weather in Spain and north Africa, where floods, snow and hail have affected harvests

Not sure sure conned, more ‘let down’. If those in power had simply all accepted the result, and the country did as well, all that energy could’ve been spent working on deals and trying to get the best for the UK, but we pissed about far too much and have screwed ourselves.Anyone who voted Brexit must know they were conned by now. Because nobody in power actually thought that the electorate would be dumb enough to vote for it. They simply had no plans for what happened because it was unthinkable to vote in favour of it.Not sure sure conned, more ‘let down’. If we're importing from Morocco then we shouldn't be affected by Spanish shortages. What's the problem in Morocco?
What's that got to do with bad weather affecting crops in Spain?
Total incompetence by our government, no mistake about that.Because nobody in power actually thought that the electorate would be dumb enough to vote for it. They simply had no plans for what happened because it was unthinkable to vote in favour of it.
