Since getting the dog, she has turned out garden into a quagmire. Basically it wouldn't look out of place at Glasonbury.

Has anyone on here got it in the garden?
What should I be looking to pay per Square metre?

Any general advice you can give?

how long have you had her? I doubt many gardens would look different with the amount of rainfall we've had over the last few months.

Just had it fitted in my back garden, dog shit just picks straight off it, hose down if sloppy. Dog runs in and out the house and not a single muddy paw print! One of the best decisions I’ve ever made.

I was originally go into do it myself, but got a firm in and it didn’t cost me as much as I thought.

Have a look at Ultra Lawn NE Facebook page , they’ve put a post up on 28th March showing my back garden.

    Got a quote of £5500 for a 15m x 15m garden. Thurned them down.

I've got it in the back garden but it was already there when we bought the house.

I'd recommend it if you are after low maintenance, we don't have a dog but it only needs a sweep once/twice a fortnight depending how much debris has fallen on it. Hose/pressure washer gets it clean in an instant as well.

Thats a decent price for that sized garden to be fair depending on the quality of the grass.

Tbh, it was just a case of not having that kind of cash to spend on the garden at that time.

We'd got a dog, and was expecting the worst for the lawn, however it's holding up pretty well, 3 years into having the mutt.

I've put some down underneath a swing frame, to test the water on how easy it is to do. Was a peice of piss, but that was only 3m x 2m, and our lawn has a slope.

  11. if you have a small shady yard maybe but to rip up grass to lay that is terrible...

just feed and maintain your grass and leave the cut a bit longer if you have a dog

How much did you pay if you dont mind me asking?

We had them out last week for a quote on our garden as the wife wants artifical grass. But theres lots more to do as the fence is on its last legs and the garden has a slope, and were getting the bit round the side of the house done as well as its manky wood chip at the minute so theyre putting chipped slate down. Quoted us 4.5k for the lot. Were getting a couple of other quotes just to compare prices but might go with them

    PM if necessary

I did my own little patch where the sun doesn't get to the lawn. Like said earlier in the thread it's all the prep.
4 x 4 cost me around £300 all in. But took 4 days hard graft. Got the grass from franks (I know I was sceptical at first) but they have a really good range. Same stuff and size was £300 in builders yard. Got it for £119. Nice and thick and natural looking. Hard graft though.

Half the ones I’ve seen look like summit that greengrocers used to put in their windows and stand cabbages on.

Its worth paying the extra to get the 40mm stuff thats for sure. Its not cheap, but does look pretty real.
