Currently undergoing some physio for pain down my left leg/knee/foot and the physio suggested she felt the pain in my foot was more linked to arthritis than an issue with my sciatic nerve.
The pain is quite sporadic but feels like the joint at the base of my big toe is bruised, as if suffering an impact injury. Came on very suddenly after attending a wedding last year and genuinely thought someone in high heels had stood on it! Pain comes and goes, sometimes feel it if I stretch my foot/toes or occasionally when walking/bending the joint.
Anyone else suffer with this?
