If he stays fit he's a good addition to any 2nd division side batting 8 & 4th seamer. Its just a shame for him (and so many others) he played for a side with a plethora of seam bowling talent. He wouldnt be the first good seamer who struggled with injuries and thus couldnt hold down a place here.

Look at Mark Davies, Claydon, even Thorp to a lesser extent.

Best wishes to the lad whether his future career is in cricket or elsewhere. But from a Durham viewpoint 3 seamers have been allowed to leave only one of whom wanted to leave and no mention as yet of any replacements. Rather foolish to release them unless we have replacements lined up
