I've no doubt we're doing it. I've heard rumours about what our capabilities actually are.

We're not investing anywhere near enough in defence to protect ourselves against these attacks. The NCSC are a good start, and they've achieved a lot in the five or so years they've been around.

The front line for this kind of activity isn't sexy NCSC buildings or GCHQ -it’s the IT staff that actually run and manage the infrastructure the country relies on. The poor bastards who have to manage the fallout of a ransomware attack. There’s a chronic shortage of skilled IT security staff. It needs investment. Companies need to be able to access grants or help to secure systems in the national good. It needs a mind shift in central govt.
 
Just get a Toyota Hilux and mount a 50 cal on the back - 2 man crew sorted and cheap - mind the recoil from a 50 cal could knock a bull out so the lad shooting better watch out!
 
So Putin for whatever reason attacks the UK, their tanks sweep across the North German plain where our tanks are sitting ducks, we've got no planes on our aircraft carriers and our subs are all in dry dock up in Faslane and their Arctic & Black Sea fleets steam towards us unopposed. What do we do as a last resort (if the US allows us) drop the bomb on the Pays-de-Calais and hope the wind is blowing in the opposite direction? The Tories used to pride themselves on being the party of Law & Order, financial prudence and National Security - this lot won't get out of bed unless there's something to trouser for themselves or their already rich mates.

Just buy a load of Toyota trucks and use AK 47s on the move . Deffo be faster than 20 mph

HMS Queen Elizabeth has UK owned and operated planes on board.

The Challenger 2 is still an excellent tank.

The Ajax is an AFV not a tank. Hope this helps.

Smallest navy in centuries and tanks that dont work but the tories are strong on defence. Rightio.

The tories are also strong on law and order with record crime numbers as well.

The ring wing loons on here must be really happy with the foodbank roll out - now that is something the tories have excelled at.

Tow big aircraft carriers commissioned by Labour but tories then cancelled the planes to fly on them. Good to see our aircraft carriers now have aircraft to carry.

Bit like the tories claiming credit for new police offices despite slashing then.

This country is mad.

people purporting to have great knowledge are still referring to this platform of vehicles as tanks.

which really goes to show they dont have any knowledge at all
