Are we really bothered

I don't think its simply a case of the cups.
The atmosphere has simply died, which is understandable when you look
at our recent history.
I think the club needs a complete change of direction, but only results and form can help.

All this utter bollocks about getting out of the competition asap as it puts a brake on our promotion hopes, ffs man.

It gives young uns the chance to impress (well it did last season eg Morecambe away) and gain experience, gives those coming back from injury some game time, AND more importantly, it gives game time to those on the fringe of the first 11 so that they aren't festering and becoming mood hoovers in and around the dressing room.

The Checkatrade had nowt to do with failure to gain promotion last season, indeed, we won 3 nil at Acc Stan the Wednesday after the Wembley loss, and people using it as an excuse are quite frankly talking out of their arses.
Agreed. And anyone who calls themselves a football fan that would not hope for a trip to Wembley is not a football fan

when winning the cup matches -a resounding yes
when losing the cup matches - a resounding no

was exactly the same last season

Reading and listening to fans comments online and talking to lads. There’s a consensus that they would be happy to see us get knocked out the FA Cup today.

Anyone rather we got beat than having to trail down to Kent for a cold November evenings football on a shocking league 2 pitch/facilities.

Adding to the fixture pile up.

We then looked extremely nervous in the game which would have been played on the weekend of the final (Burton). That was the catalyst for us losing our arse for the run-in.

What’s people’s thoughts on Tuesday night coming up.
Scunthorpe away in the leasing cup.

Do you want to see us progress out of the groups?
Or happy to see us not progress & concentrate on the league?
