Are most of the "bed wetters" young folk with memory loss?

Good job it was or we'd have been playing championship football now. Going off the previous seasons where we managed to escape relegation by improving our form in the run in, we still managed to struggle to get many points at the start of the following season. Who's to say if Allardyce was still here that that would have continued to be the case?
Going off previous seasons, form would probably have carried over, dipped in the second half of this season but finishing reasonably comfortably, then be rock bottom by November next year in time for another sacking.

Sports were 'invented' as a replacement for war in classical times. Not that I use it myself but the trenches analogy fits. Proper laugh riot me.

Playing perhaps, but not watching and/or supporting, that being the context it's used here time and again.

Nothing wrong with a bit of knowledge mind.

For years all I dreamt of was seeing us in the top flight whilst following us.

Also, we've been in this situation the last few seasons and managed to get out of it.

Not saying its good, its clearly not, but the reactions and meltdowns are embarrassing tbh.
Aye

I find knowledge to be a dangerous possession on here at times. Opinions become facts very quickly. Not exclusive to this board mind you

Lads after decades supporting them l feel really depressed. But this is by no means the first time supporting SAFC. I have got to the point l'm past caring tbh but the bastXrds are so deep in my dna l will always have that gut wrenching feel when they are playing still scream when they score. Directors managers players come and go. Proper fans stay.

And if we do go down, we'll soon find out who the fair weather fans are.

I think its the performances as much as anything, they don't look like getting better at all. Its not bed wetting to want your team to compete in a game.

It's straightforward for me. If today, and let's face it we've heard it for a few games now, you are announcing we are done, down, relegated with 30 games remaining, then you are a genuine 100% A-grade bedwetter.

We've been there before. Many times.
The club is in the DNA of the City. Everything comes and goes. If we don't escape this season we will still have a team to support.
There will be a resurgence, hope will rekindle, despair will be replaced with optimism.
For an unspecified period.
But I'm not holding my breath for Champions League football .
Unlike the deluded kernts up the road.
Never forget our feet are on the ground. We don't self delude, punch horses, organize coffin protests, gob on an old man because 'wis expect sum thing better.'
