Are most of the "bed wetters" young folk with memory loss?

We should stop these childish generalisations, for a start.

I'm not a bed-wetter or a happy clapper or any other stupid description. I'm just a fan - for 60 years now.

I don't want us to keep changing managers, but I've yet to see any sign at all that Moyes can do this. Not one single solitary sign.

I'm really wavering now.
Well stop wavering, use your 60 years of experience and realise one time we have to stick with a manager instead of writing him off after 8 games.

You said you wouldn't want some of the people who post on here in the Trenches with you.

With me so far?

I'm saying that analogy is f***ing retarded because being in the Trenches isn't the same as supporting a f***ing football team.[/QUOTE
You go to games ?

Stupid reasoning. You stick with a manager because he's competent in his job. And no, Ferguson didn't turn a team that had a winning second half of the season into one that can't find a win.

That's probably the most fair and balanced post I've read on here on the matter and it's difficult to disagree with.

For years all I dreamt of was seeing us in the top flight whilst following us.

Also, we've been in this situation the last few seasons and managed to get out of it.

Not saying its good, its clearly not, but the reactions and meltdowns are embarrassing tbh.
Yes, by sacking the manager who has lead to that shit start (and none of them quite as shit as this one, either) and appointing somebody else to get us out of it. How many games do we give Moyes? How many games do we need to write off, before we do our usual trick and trick and start climbing? Genuinely, as nobody has actually answered this question yet, how many games would you allow him to manage if we continue failing to pick up points?

This. Considering his experience, he looks completely out of his depth. Short gives him a 4 year contract as well FFS.

We shouldn't accept the constant shite we dish up just because we used to finish in the bottom half of the championship 20 years ago

Teams come up every year and overtake us in 1 transfer window. It really isn't good enough
It really isnt!
I'm seething here. No really.

We stuck with mcmenemy and that worked well.
If we'd stuck with MoN, Poyet, Bruce, pdc, Keano we'd be down.
Yes keano ran away before he had to account for his hopelessness but he was finished.
The myths that are perpetrated on here are laughable.
Stick with a manager is the only way.

You've fucked the formatting up here and I can't be arsed to fix it. I go to games when money and family allow, yes. I've been a season ticket holder in the past. Not that going or not going has any relevance to the point I'm making, mind.

As another poster has said, have you been in a tench? In fact, have you served at all?

It's all relative. I've been going for over 30 year and this is absolutely dreadful. I won't accept it because we used to play at a lower level.

Yes, by sacking the manager. We need to do it as soon as possible.

The one thing that you can say for Moyes is that he hasn't been able to field his strongest side.

Otherwise, his transfer decisions both in and out have been dreadful, the players look demotivated and uninterested and we don't seem to have any idea how to get the best out of what we have. Plenty said it at the time but letting Kaboul and Lens go looks criminal.
