Aye, I remember Chris Schofield coming through at Lancashire at a young age when he was going to be the answer to England's spin bowling problems for the next 20 years :oops: only for him to end up playing club cricket within 4 years of his England debut.
Mighty difficult for young leggies to come through in our conditions together withn the hype they inevitably generate which increases the pressure. Let's just hope the lad is allowed develop without too much pressure too early and turns out to be the real deal.

They have some talented lads also had a different 16 year old getting a wicket and a 50 on debut few weeks before
 
Way back in 59 a 17 yr old Colin Milburn whilst still a pupil at Stanley Grammar School scored a debut ton v the touring Indians for Durham at Ashbrooke
