Apple leads are not long enough

I have just rived one out of my iPad because the lead was not long enough,it is absolutely disgraceful. Apple - I know you read this board -get it sorted and bring one around to my house as soon as possible.

Instead of plugging a charger into your phone directly, you plug the charge cable into a small pad, that you then place your phone on top of.

Most modern smartphones can be charged this way, and the technology has been in cars for a few years.

lastest ipads and macs can all be charged via ubc-c. iPhone is still lightening but wireless charging makes more sense anyway, I can't remember the last time I plugged my phone in.
