AOB - one swan doesn't make a summer

Yes, I know. He was making a fair, but obvious comment - probably better as a reply than as a title thread.
I just think there's a tendency on here to keep on kicking when the man is down. Probably relates to a basic psychological need. One page of misquotes would be enough. But as they say "it's no use crying over spilt oatmilk"
This thread getting to me now. Was I the only one that read that as "One page of mosquitoes" ?

Glad for AOB to get his season rolling, but he hasn't been very good for us since he joined.

A hat-trick is a hat-trick, but who remembers Tom Ritchie scoring a hat-trick on 18 April, 1981?

I remember being in the crowd that day a few days after Ken Knighton got sacked - partly due to Ritchie's failure to score goals after his move from Bristol City.

Ritchie scored 5 goals in his other 34 Sunderland appearances.
Absolutely right. Undeniable. One Swan doesn't make a summer!

Of course endless moaning, vicious whinging at every tiny error and complains when the player obeys the manager's instructions instead of the crowd's will very quickly bring on a very cold winter. The Swans will freeze.
It does on here. Only as good as your last game.
Did you mean "Your last pass"? Sad, isn't it?

Suspect O'Brien's better at swiming around in a pond than a swan would be up front against Wycombe. But I think its worth testing it out.
