The way he was even talking up Bendtner indicates to me that he's happy to work with the squad that's in place.

Why would he be after Collins with all the defenders we have, or Petrov or that Belgian lad esp as Catts is back to his best and Meyler on the mend.

We'd all love to see him get a left footed left back and a proper centre for ward {not one who has no hunger to get in the box and who is happy to play out on the wings}, but I feel he will stick with what he's got - UNLESS more injuries kick in.

I think he'll be working right now to get 2-3 players in. All good managers talk their players up, but that doesn't stop them wanting to strengthen the squad. He'll have players in mind and, within reason, Ellis Short will back him. The club will do things properly and not talk about transfers till they're done.
