Just back from the hospital where me dad and lifelong safc fan has had major open heart surgery.

Everything that could have gone wrong has gone wrong and the surgeon and his team have performed miracles to keep him alive.

If anyone some spare prayers or favours owing from those above can they send them me dad's way tonight please

Best of luck mate. The last time I prayed was when my Dad had a stroke 25 years ago. It worked and he came through to make a full recovery. He's 84 now. I'll gladly knock another one out for your old man mate.

Just heard from the hospital, dad is still critical but stable. No dramas overnight thankfully and the consultant stayed in ITU all night just in case dad needed anything doing.

Thanks for the prayers and thoughts, he's fighting hard
