Bloke from Hartlepool who infamously got caught faking his own death to claim life insurance fraud.

Winds up on a new life in the Philippines with a wife 23 years younger than him.
 


It's common knowledge he has been over there for a few years, they live in a downtrodden part of manila, and he hasn't paid any of his POCA.

I know the lad who did it . Same lad also boarded the windows of the Station Hotel pub up the night before the landlord was due back from his holiday . Cracking pub but was torn down for a Sainsburys . The Staincliffe hotel next door to where Darwin holed up started flying the Panama flag along side the 4 GB flags

The story I heard is that his wife knew, but they kept it from the kids.
I hope your idea is correct though, and that they're telling yet another lie.

Aye thats the story they told, but was literally just a secret compartment in the house, which just wasnt even that secret.

No proof like but I'd be surprised.
