Anyone like fois gras?

Good that they want to end the badger cull. There is no evidence it is working, has been very expensive and there was no scientific data to support the whole basis behind it anyway. Labour want to ban, the Tories recently expanded it against all scientific advice from their own report.

it generally takes a minimum of four years to see any measurable results. also, they did a study in the 90s over a 8 year period that showed a controlled cull of badgers can slow the spread of tb.

Like children

Sounds harsh, but yes. If you want them, budget accordingly. Granted everyone will have money blips when they have kids, and I'm sure they'll manage.
However, it's a well established fact that having kids ain't cheap. If people don't realise this, maybe they shouldn't have them.

expanding affordable vet care for owners on low incomes

Who pays for this?

people on low incomes should budget accordingly.

I have nothing against subsidising a pensioners vet bills, if the comany of a dog takes the edge off their loneliness or the exercise walking them keeps them fit..

However fuck caring for a career dole wallers collection of staffies.

Pilot culls started in 2013. In 2016, after 10 years Ireland ended badger culls in favour of vaccination as they didn't work.
