Imagine giving a toss about what one bunch of arseholes did to another bunch of arseholes on a different island 329 years ago, in a long and bloody chain of arseholes doing things to arseholes over hundreds of years in the name of a cloud goblin who doesn't exist.

People are weird.
 
Is it so different to the yanks celebrating the 4th of July?

Whatever your perspective the Glorious Revolution was a watershed moment for Britain and was overwhelmingly positive.
Loads different the yanks celebrate their independence but I don't think they hold a load of animosity to the Brits and vice versa. The prods and catholics of Ireland have held onto their hatred for hundreds of years. Stuff like celebrating the battle of the Boyle just reinforces the divides
