anyone here celebrating the twelfth??

On one hand it’s all a bit outdated and nasty, but on the other hand it means that a significant proportion of the British Isles’ biggest moronic f***ing dog nonces all put on colours and make themselves easy to identify for future reference as to who the biggest moronic f***ing dog nonces are, so it’s useful in that respect.

It’s just a bit of tradition man, you’d think they were dragging Catholics into the street and lynching them.

I can see why the orange order and people of ulster want to celebrate and/or commemorate it.

It’s the bellwiffs from places like ashington and shields with no connections to NI who go on like wankers that are dicks

The Battle of the Boyne was actually on 1st July.

yep and the idea of celebrating 'the twelfth' was to commemorate the battle of Aughrim originally. The celebrations of the Boyne and Aughrim were combined in 1800s for various reasons with both being celebrated on the twelfth ever since.
